DA’s Fugitive Friday: Justin Gibbs still at large following high-speed pursuit
DA’s Fugitive Friday for December 27, 2024
Justin Gibbs has active charges pending in Crockett, Gibson, and Madison Counties.
Mr. Gibbs is wanted out of Crockett County General Sessions Court for failing to appear on November 7, 2024, for Felony Possession of Schedule I Drugs and Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, for which the Crockett Co. General Sessions Judge set a $7,500 bond. While out on bond for those offenses, he was subsequently charged with Six Counts of Felony Reckless Endangerment, Attempted Evading Arrest, Reckless Driving, Driving while License Suspended, and Resisting Arrest, which remain active warrants for him to be served.
In Madison County, on July 3, 2023, Gibbs was charged with Five Counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Two Counts of Casual Exchange/ Possession of Controlled Substances, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Gibbs failed to appear in Madison County Circuit Court for his scheduled jury trial on September 11, 2024.
On December 23, 2024, Gibbs evaded arrest by motor vehicle across multiple county lines, involving numerous pursuing law enforcement agencies, resulting in active charges in the General Sessions Court of Gibson County for Felony Evading Arrest, Reckless Driving, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Driving While Licensed Revoked.
His last known address was in Jackson, TN.
