Library offers Tai Chi classes

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Public Library is looking to help anyone seeking to improve their health in 2025 by providing a free and unique opportunity. The library is hosting Tai Chi each Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

Tai Chi is a Chinese tradition that is now practiced as a graceful form of exercise. This type of Tai Chi includes doing repetitions of nine for every type of form. Music is played and everything is performed slowly.

The practice is a great form of exercise for seniors, but all ages are welcome. Tai Chi is low impact and easy on the joints. It provides an opportunity for everyone to stay active at any age. It’s used to help people relax, but can also be a form of exercise.
