Skaters hit the ice one last time in Lexington
LEXINGTON, Tenn.—If ice skating was on your holiday to-do list, the City of Lexington is offering one last chance to hit the rink.
Saturday marks the end of ice skating in Lexington for the holiday season.
Skaters head to the rink to get in a few more last laps before it closes.
The last day also came with some surprises.
As a special final day savings, everyone could skate for just $2 from 1 in the afternoon until 5 in the evening. And skating after was still discounted at just $5 per person.
This final day of holiday fun also had HTeaO Lexington on site with specialties like hot cocoa, tea and more available.
“It’s the last day for the skating rink in Lexington and HTeaO is really big on community involvement, and volunteer work, and giving back to our community. That’s why we’re here today,” said Danielle Dyer, Assistant General Manager at HTeaO.
The rink is located at 103 1st Street in Lexington and is open Saturday until 8 in the evening.
