UPDATE: 2 dead after multi-vehicle wreck on North Highland

Three-Car Accident on N. Highland – Investigation Ongoing
[Jackson, TN] – At approximately 8:04 p.m., on January 9, 2025, officers were dispatched to the scene of a three-car accident located at 2670 N. Highland, in front of the Dodge Store. Upon arrival, officers found three vehicles involved in the collision.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) evaluated two of the individuals at the scene, who were released without serious injuries. Unfortunately, two males were pronounced deceased at the scene of the accident.

JACKSON, Tenn. — A large police presence was seen on North Highland Avenue between Vann Drive and Old Humboldt Road Thursday night.
Around 8:30 p.m., we received several calls from our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters regarding a multi-vehicle wreck on North Highland Avenue. Once we arrived to the scene, we saw three vehicles that had sustained damage and first responders who were working to clear the roads.
According to the Jackson Police Department’s post on the AtlasOne app, southbound traffic on North Highland Avenue was diverted down Old Humboldt Road and Ramblewood Drive. Northbound traffic was diverted down Vann Drive.
We reached out to JPD for confirmation on possible injuries or the cause of the wreck, however, they were not immediately available for comment. At the time of this article’s publication, all roads that were previously closed are now open again.
