Snowball fight held in northwest Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — When you have snow, you want to get out in it and have fun — whether it’s sledding or building a snowman. But there’s one other way that snow can help bring out some joy and even a little friendly competition.

Several people got together Friday in Evergreen Park in northwest Madison County to show off their skills with a snowball fight.

The powdery but wet snow made for a perfect combination, helping to pack together a snowball to throw.

Polar projectiles were traded between groups, disintegrating on impact once they came in contact with their target.
