Open Enrollment is an option offered by JMCSS for families to send their students to schools outside of their zoned area. If seats are available, out-of-zone students can be enrolled in their requested school. (jmcss.org)
Open Enrollment allows families to register for unique options like Madison Academic, Community Montessori, the Academic Academy at Northeast Middle, Malesus STEM Innovation Center, and JCM-Early College High.
The deadline to apply is February 3 for high school options, and March 1 for elementary and middle schools.

From 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, JMCSS will host the Rising Freshman Parent Night at the Board of Education, located at 310 North Parkway. This event, intended for rising 9th grade parents and students, will provide information on programs of study, open enrollment opportunities, graduation requirements, ACT preparation, and resources for the student’s transition to high school.
