Catbird Studio to bring ‘Descendants: The Musical’ to stage
JACKSON, Tenn. — Curtains up! A beloved tale will be brought to life on a Hub City stage this March.
Catbird Studio is preparing for their upcoming production of “Descendants: The Musical.”
“Descendants: The Musical” is based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney’s “Descendants!” This is a brand-new musical that is jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films! It follows Disney’s most famous Royals and Villains but focusing on their children, specially the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil. The four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, and they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?
Showtimes have been announced for the following dates:
- March 1 (2 p.m. & 7 p.m.)
- March 2 (2 p.m. & 7 p.m.)
- March 3 (7 p.m.)
All performances will take place at The Ned, located at 314 East Main Street in downtown Jackson.
