Participants began gathering at noon at the Bolivar Elementary School located at 445 Nuckolls Road to complete any last minute details to parade transports.
The parade includes a performance from the Bolivar Central High School band, along with several local organizations, students, Emergency services and more participating to celebrate the life and legacy of King.
“He said the example and we just need to pick up on that and we believe if they do that, we’ll have a better community, a better county, a better town, a better world,” said Monroe Woods, Coordinator for the Hardeman County MLK Parade Committee.
