Car collides with semi in east Jackson, injuries reported

JACKSON, Tenn. — A morning wreck raised concerns in east Jackson on Thursday.

According to Jackson Police Department’s Atlas One app, the crash occurred near Dr. F.E. Wright Drive and Whitehall around 8 a.m., and included injuries.

Photos posted to social media show a dark-colored sedan collided into the rear of a semi truck.

Jackson Police, Fire Department and EMS could be seen on-site.

Traffic in the area was halted as crews worked to clear the scene.
