Slim Chickens suspect appears in court, warrant reveals new info
JACKSON, Tenn. — 22-year-old Harrison Cobb is charged with first degree murder, following events that happened Tuesday evening at Slim Chickens in north Jackson.
Friday morning, Cobb appeared virtually in Jackson City Court before Judge Blake Anderson.
A warrant obtained in court revealed more details about the shooting.
According to the warrant, Jackson Police officers were dispatched to the scene around 6:33 p.m., and they arrived to find 32-year-old Andretti Siddell laying on the floor behind the restaurant’s counter. Siddell was observed with multiple gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The warrant states an officer observed Cobb, who was an employee of the business, attempting to conceal a handgun in the kitchen area. Cobb allegedly told investigators at the scene that he suffered from mental health issues. Cobb was detained and transported for questioning.
According to the warrant, Cobb provided investigators with an inaccurate depiction of the incident, which was proven false by the restaurant’s security footage.
Surveillance footage revealed that Siddell and several others entered the business, then went into the kitchen area where a physical altercation with Cobb ensued.
After the altercation, and while the subjects attempted to leave, the warrant states Cobb retrieved a handgun and fired multiple rounds at Siddell. Siddell then fell to the floor, incapacitated, and Cobb then shot him several more times.
According to the warrant, Cobb then walked around the kitchen area for some time, making phone calls. Cobb then approached Siddell a third time as he lay on the floor still alive, the warrant states, and shot him once more at close range, which appeared to be the fatal wound.
The warrant reveals that Cobb hid is firearm in the kitchen area and did not disclose its location during the investigation — however, investigators located a Glock .40 caliber handgun and seven shell casings at the scene.
The investigation also revealed that Siddell was not armed during the incident.
During Cobb’s court appearance, we learned that he also has pending charges for driving without a license and felony evading arrest.
Cobb’s case was reset to Wednesday, February 5 at 9:30 a.m. He is currently being held without bond.
