JPD: Traffic stop leads to drugs seized, arrests

NEWS RELEASE FROM CITY OF JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT

JACKSON, Tenn.—At 12:15 a.m. on January 25, 2025, Jackson Police Department officers initiated a traffic stop, leading to a brief pursuit.

The officers effectively utilized spike strips to stop the vehicle. A backpack recovered contained approximately 26 grams of marijuana and 209 suspected Fentanyl pills.

The occupants were taken into custody.
