West TN Grain and Soybean Producers Conference kicks off Feb. 6
DYERSBURG, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee Extension will once again host the West Tennessee Grain and Soybean Producers Conference.
The conference is February 6 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dyer County Fairgrounds. This free event is open to the public, with registration beginning at 7:45 a.m.
Starting at 8 a.m., the conference’s trade show will feature industry professionals from across the region sharing the latest technological and agricultural developments.
Beginning at 9 a.m., presentations will take place throughout the day covering a variety of agricultural topics such as soil health and farm financial management. A complimentary lunch is also included.
“Each year in the crowd we have between 450 to 500 people in attendance. These people are ag professionals and producers that come from western Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri and Arkansas,” said Lindsay Stephenson, A&R agent and county director for Haywood County.
Certified crop advisers, Tennessee Master Row Crop Producers, and other private and commercial applicators can obtain pesticide re-certification points for attending this conference.
