Community Economic Development Commission holds meeting
JACKSON, Tenn. — Leaders with the Community Economic Development Commission held a meeting Wednesday afternoon.
Members gathered at the Jackson Chamber’s Executive Conference room to discuss upcoming events and opportunities for residents.
Some events they discussed were the Tennessee Songwriter’s Competition, Kids Visitor’s Guide, baseball and softball tournaments and the upcoming State Games.
We spoke to the CEO of Visit Jackson, TN Lori Nunnery about the upcoming games that will be held here in Jackson.
“We are thrilled, the chamber is the lead on the state games ad were happy to assist and be apart of that we know they will be working and inviting several teams across the entire state here to Jackson so were happy to support their efforts,” said Nunnery.
