Juvenile faces charges following death of pregnant 15-year-old
JACKSON, Tenn. — A 17-year-old is facing charges following the death of a pregnant teen in Jackson.
On Saturday, January 25, the Jackson Police Department responded to a shooting on Hardee Street that left one 15-year-old female dead.

Following an investigation by JPD, it was revealed that the teen who died was pregnant. Initially, the father of the child, a 17-year-old, claimed the teen shot herself while playing with a gun.
However, after further interviews with investigators, JPD says he then admitted to accidentally shooting the female. Stating that when he took the gun from her it discharged.
As a result, the Jackson Police Department says the 17-year-old was charged with two counts of second-degree murder in Madison County Juvenile Court.
