TBI to unveil 2 new efforts to better educate, protect Tennessee’s senior population

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation unveiled two new resources to meet the needs of the state’s growing senior population.

The first initiative is an app called ‘TBI Find‘ that helps to connect the public with updated information about Silver Alerts issued in Tennessee.

A key part of the app is its ‘CareKit’ feature, which enables users to compile key information and pictures of loved ones, which can be given to law enforcement in the event of an emergency.

The second initiative is the SafeSenior TN Campaign.

It provides easy to understand guidance on a variety of technology, financial and personal safety topics to prevent crimes impacting seniors. For more information on these initiatives, click here.
