Former NFL player Merril Hoge shares how to make game day special

JACKSON, Tenn. — The countdown to the big game is on and you are likely planning your menu, selecting recipes and gearing up for the biggest sporting event of the year!

We sat down with NFL veteran and analyst Merril Hoge to show, tell and demo his play-by-play for the big day.

“It’s about, you know, getting together, creating and if you think about it, the longer you live, it’s about memories. After, you create memories — experiences together. It’s one of those experiences that allow you to get together and create great memories,” said Hoge.

Hoge was drafted to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1987 and named the Steelers’ ‘Iron Man of the Year’ two years in a row.
