Girl Scout Cookies are here! Booth locations to be hosted beginning Feb. 7

PRESS RELEASE FROM GIRL SCOUTS HEART OF THE SOUTH:

JACKSON, TN — Girl Scout Cookies have arrived in the West Tennessee Area and Girl Scouts will be hosting their annual booth sales February 7th through March 9th.

Eager cookie cravers can check out businesses on the weekends to find girls at booth locations. If customers don’t know a Girl Scout or don’t know where the cookie booths are located, they can search locations online and by zip code.  Girl Scout Cookie Booth locations can be found by visiting www.girlscoutcookies.org and entering your zip code to search by date and location to find the cookie booth nearest you.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program gives Girl Scouts the opportunity to earn money for program activities, summer camp and community service projects. The program also plays a huge role in transforming girls into tomorrow’s leaders as they learn essential life skills that will stay with them forever. “The Girl Scout Cookie Program gives our budding entrepreneurs real-world goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics that they will be able to put into action for a successful future,” said Venus Chaney, CEO of Girl Scouts Heart of the South.

For those who are sticking with their New Year’s Resolutions, local Girl Scout troops continue to offer an option for those who want to support the Girl Scouts but not take home any cookies.  Supporters can purchase Girl Scout Cookies from the girls and have them donate the cookies to the Troop-to-Troops program. This program ships boxes to our men and women serving in the armed forces. It’s a great way to support our military and Girl Scouts at the same time. Most local troops also accept donated cookies for local charities selected by the girls through the Gift of Caring program.  Ask any troop if they have a local donation option to participate in a donation program.

Customers will find a familiar line-up of cookie flavors in 2025 with prices set at $6.00 per box for every flavor.  This is the last year for the Girl Scout S’Mores cookies so everyone is encouraged to stock up on these if they’re your favorite.  Choices this year are Thin Mints, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Samoas, Tagalongs, Lemon-Ups, Adventurefuls, Girl Scout S’Mores and gluten-free Toffee-tastics.  Whatever flavor you choose, you’ll be getting a tasty treat and supporting a time-honored tradition that supports local Girl Scout troops in your area.
