There were a total of 250 donors and 47 teams that registered to play. Earlier Tuesday, the center was awarded more than $180,000 for their program.

“We’re just blown away by the amount of support we had for this golf tournament and it’s very special that the community can come together. I am a former patient here and the amount of care I was able to get here is phenomenal. I’m walking here today because of this place and I just want to be able to help others get that same care that I was able to get,” said Ann Marie Kelley, chair for the Swinging Fore Hope tournament.

The Kirkland Cancer Center serves residents of West Tennessee, offering hematology and oncology services.
