Judy Ann Collins Jordan

Judy Ann Collins Jordan, 83, of Jackson, TN, passed away peacefully at her home on February 7, 2025.

She was born on February 22, 1941, in Denmark, TN, to the late Floyd and Rosa Landers Collins. A devoted member of First Baptist Church Bemis, Judy lived her life as a faithful Christian, always eager to share kindness with others. She found joy in cooking, gardening, and entertaining friends, often blessing those around her with thoughtful “happies.” Her generosity and warmth touched many lives, and her legacy of love and service will be cherished by all who knew her.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, James Jordan; her son, Joseph Kimzey; and her sisters, Janet Caudle and Joy King.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Melissa Anderson and Jada Seaton (Brad); her daughter-in-law, Vicki Kimzey; and her treasured grandchildren, Jacob Anderson (Michelle), Jordan Anderson, Joseph Kimzey (Amanda), Abigail Bullington (Tyler), Anna Kimzey, and Audrey Seaton. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren: Myla Anderson, Alaina Dawn Woodard, Alayna Kay Bullington, Cassie Schrock, Layla Kimzey, and Lucy Kimzey. Additionally, she is survived by her brothers, Jack Collins and Jerry Collins (Brenda), along with numerous other relatives and dear friends.

A service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church Bemis, with Bro. John R. Gaters officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Henry Cemetery in Corinth, MS, at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM, two hours prior to the service.

Judy’s family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord. Her unwavering faith, loving spirit, and boundless generosity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
