Marsha Dean Douglas
Marsha Dean Douglas, age 83, a beloved wife, mother, and sister, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2025, at Haywood County Community Hospital in Brownsville, TN. Born on January 1, 1942, in Memphis, TN, Marsha was known for her loving spirit and deep faith.
As a dedicated homemaker, Marsha cherished the time spent with her family, creating a warm and nurturing environment for her loved ones. Her devotion extended beyond her family to her beloved animals, which brought her great joy throughout her life. Marsha’s Godly nature was evident in everything she did, serving as a source of inspiration to those around her.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 59 years, Larry Douglas, and her two daughters, Kimberly Douglas of Brownsville, TN, and Courtney Douglas of Panacea, FL. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Clay McCloud Dean (Debbie) of Hardy, AR.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, William Channell Dean, Sr. and Marjorie Murray Dean Skinner, and her two brothers, William Channell Dean, Jr. and Thomas Stanley Dean. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by all who knew her, and her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family has chosen cremation and information for a memorial service will be announced as it becomes available. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.
