‘Pink Out’ Basketball Fundraiser for fallen Officer

JACKSON Tenn — Residents gathered at one local high school for a great cause.

A ‘Pink Out’ event was held at McNairy Central High School.

Multiple basketball games were held and attendees at Thursday night’s games were asked to wear pink.

The event honored educators Randy and Lisa Roten.  Lisa Roten, was recently diagnosed with cancer and the event served as a way to honor her and those who are fighting breast cancer.

Both the boys and girls varsity teams from McNairy Central and Hardin County High School went head to head in four separate games.

All money raised from tonight’s games will go towards the family of fallen officer Sergeant Rick Finley.

Finley was sadly killed in the line of duty on December 14, 2024 while serving with the Selmer Police Department.
