BRADFORD, Tenn. — We bring you continuing coverage regarding Saturday evening’s storm in Gibson County.

Saturday’s EF-2 tornado in northern Gibson county left several homes near Bradford heavily damaged, along with large trees uprooted and some trees partially debarked.

We received a report of a large home knocked off its foundation near Highway 45 East.

Though the community is devastated, the community has poured out love and support to the Mount Pisgah area as well as the area near Black Dog Road closer to Milan. One resident and his family was relieved to have made it to shelter on time.

“Me and my wife decided that it was time to go take cover. We got about to the front door of the house and the windows blew. When the windows blew we made it to the bathroom and the wind was sucking. We pushed the door shut and within about 60 seconds it was done and over with,” said Michael Wheeler.

There were no fatalities or injuries caused by the tornado.
