JPD invites community to help name newest K-9 officer
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Police Department is inviting the community to name its newest K-9 officer.
The K-9 is a one and half-year-old male German shepherd, imported from Germany. He will be working alongside his handler, officer Dewald. The K-9 will serve as a patrol dog, responsible for tracking, building clearing, apprehending violent criminals and conducting article searches.
You can email suggestions to sgraham@jacksontn.gov. Emailed entries must include your name, telephone number and your suggested name for the K-9.
