Habitat for Humanity hosts open house in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—One local organization hosts an open house.

Habitat for Humanity in Jackson debuts its newest build available for purchase.

The open house took place from 2 Sunday afternoon until 4 in the evening at 127 Prince Edward Street in Jackson.

Tours of the home were available on site, allowing visitors to check out its 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom floor plan.

Those interested in the home, could find out the requirements, and other qualifications needed to be a Habitat for Humanity home buyer.

Professionals were also on hand to answer any questions.

“We build new homes for first time home buyers that are affordable and the mortgage is low, do that people so can afford to live in new housing,” said Shana Jackson, Board member for Habitat for Humanity.

“No one has lived here yet. It’s a great build and it feels really spacious and warm,” said Adam Johnson, CEO of Habitat for Humanity.

The cost of the home is dependent on the applicant’s approval.
