Jackson Arts Council holds Local Artist Roundtable to discuss future plans
JACKSON, Tenn. — Artists in the Hub City met to discuss plans for the upcoming year.
The Jackson Arts Council had their first Local Artist Roundtable.
This meeting allowed artists that are members of the council to share their ideas.
During this meeting, new members were able to meet other artists. The first art walk of the season will be here in no time. As of now, it is scheduled for Friday April 4 on Main Street.
“We’ll have live music. We’re partnering with the Jackson Downtown Development Corporation. They will be helping us get food trucks and we’re really excited. This is going to allow us to have a bigger event and more participation from the community. We’re just really excited,” said Erin Eller, office manager for Jackson Arts Council.
As of now, there isn’t a confirmation of another roundtable in the future.
