Tyson Dee Harrison,

Tyson Dee “Ty” Harrison, age 84, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and
husband of Vicki Harrison, departed this life Saturday morning, February
22, 2025 at Covington Care Center in Covington, Tennessee.
Ty was born January 27, 1941 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of the
late Mack Harrison and Mae Spillers Harrison. He served his country in the
United States Army and was married February 14, 1993 to Vicki Brockwell
Harrison. He had a long, distinguished career in hotel, restaurant and resort
management. Ty was a member of Morning Sun Cumberland Presbyterian
Church in Cordova, Tennessee and was an avid Oklahoma Sooners
football fan. He enjoyed fishing and music, especially playing the guitar,
and loved his dogs, Bubba and Banjo.
Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Vicki Harrison; three daughters,
Jennifer Randolph (John), Valerie Risner (Mitch) and Malachi Harrison
(Reed Mettler); two sons, Gregory Harrison and Mack Harrison (Michelle);
and eight grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in
death by his son, Tyson Glenn Harrison.
A visitation for Mr. Harrison will be from 1 to 2 P.M. Friday, February 28,
2025 at Morning Sun Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cordova.
Funeral Services will be at 2 P.M. Friday, February 28, 2025 at Morning
Sun Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jason E. Mikel and Rev.
Keith Harwell officiating. Remarks will be given by Mack Harrison, Malachi
Harrison and Jennifer Randolph. Interment will follow in Morning Sun
Cemetery.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be John Shepard, Steven
Shepard and Wes Mikel.
