Wallace Road shooting suspects appear in court

JACKSON, Tenn. — The three individuals accused of the November 26 shooting on Wallace Road that left five wounded and a two-year-old dead were in court Friday.

Deandre Perry, Tarcus Wilkes, and Javon Peterson are charged with one count of felony murder and six counts of attempted first-degree murder among other weapons charges.

During the proceeding, the court heard from a victim as she recounted the day she was shot and how it has completely changed her life.

All three men were bound over to the grand jury. The next court date is scheduled for June 9 at 8 a.m.
