The city hosts its Jazzed Up for Mardi Gras- Brownville Style celebration Saturday.
The event combines the beats of live music, delicious food, and shopping opportunities to make a day filled with fun.
Inflatables were set up for the kids to play and food trucks on site include CJ’s Kitchen and Rolling Out Eggrolls.
The celebration takes place near the downtown area with local businesses taking part in the festivities.
There was also a seafood boil taking place in the alley of South Washington Street.
Musical acts this year include Rita Perry, Matt Boone, Sam Flagg, and Steven Stewart.
“This is a continuation from previous years. We’ve done this for now three years, maybe four years so this is an annual event,” said Tom Orr, Main Street Director.
