Lane College host its annual Founder’s Day Scholarship Gala
JACKSON, Tenn.—A local college celebrates its Founders Day Scholarship Gala.
The event began at 3 this afternoon at the J.F. Lane Building on campus in Jackson.
Those who attended could enjoy a meal, as well as live entertainment from gospel artist, Charles Jenkins.
The event brings together community leaders and supporters of the college’s mission.
Lane’s Scholarship Gala serves as its main fundraiser for scholarship funds for worthy students.
“As we continue to transform lives, liberate minds, and celebrate excellence in Christ, we continue to ask the community to support us as we take this institution to the next level of excellence,” said Darlette Samuels, Vice President for Institutional Advancement.
This is the 11th year for the gala to take place.
