Dedication ceremony held for new Chester County Head Start facility

HENDERSON, Tenn. — A dedication ceremony was held Tuesday for the new Chester County Head Start facility in Henderson.

The facility features two large play areas and a significant green space.

The grounds also feature two large parking areas and an outdoor employee break area. This is a fully handicapped accessible facility. The ceremony included special guests, a dedication prayer and Head Start staff and tour information.

“We’ve made about a million dollar investment here. We have four classrooms here. We can serve up to 80 children and we have, of course, multiple support areas in addition to that and the great thing is we’ve enough property here to expand this site in the near future,” said Gary Gober, director of Head Start.

The building also has a secure entry system and a full video surveillance system.
