Woman airlifted after truck collides with train in Obion County

OBION COUNTY Tenn. — Local first responders rush to the scene of a crash involving a train and truck.

Around 3 p.m., the Rives Volunteer Fire Department was alerted to a collision between a train and pick-up truck on Ed Moffatt Road in Obion County.

According to pictures provided by the fire department’s Facebook page, it appears the truck was struck on the passenger side heading east bound.

The truck received extensive damages and officials confirm the woman involved was injured and airlifted to Nashville. The full extent of her injuries is not known at this time.
