Family, friends gather to mourn loss of teen shooting victim
JACKSON, Tenn. — One community gathered Friday evening to honor the life of a teen that was killed.
Family and friends held one last truck meet at the Ballpark of Jackson for the victim of a recent shooting.
This truck meet up was hosted by a friend who shared that the victim always loved trucks and he had plans of fixing his own truck up and driving it one day. Friends described him as funny, selfless and all good things. Those that attended his truck meet were encouraged to wear white.
“I really appreciate it. I’ve been going around thanking everybody. I didn’t think it was going to be this deep but I appreciate everyone coming. It’s just kind of emotional I didn’t think I would have to do this for one of my buddies it kind of hit a little hard when I found out the news,” said Michael, a friend of the victim.
Also, there was a card that was passed around for loved ones to sign.
