Eastview Baptist in Huntingdon presents ‘Eastview de Brazil’

HUNTINGDON, Tenn.—One church in Huntingdon gives us a unique food experience.

Eastview Baptist Church calls this yearly occasion ‘Eastview de Brazil.’

The event kicked off at the National Guard Armory in Huntingdon.

Guest are offered over 15 different meat options during the event.

This event is one of the biggest in their community with 500 to 600 people in attendance.

All proceeds go to assist with funding that offsets costs towards sending their kids to youth camp.

“Tomorrow is our first Sunday in our new sanctuary and so as Christine was saying, when we first started this event was about twenty to thirty folks in our sanctuary and our fellowship hall just eating what was cooked by about two or three people. Tonight is really like the eve of a huge weekend for our church,” said Pastor Hunter Jones, Eastview Baptist Church.

If your looking forward to joining them in their new sanctuary, service begins at 11 am Sunday located at 4700 Veterans Memorial Drive in Huntingdon.
