Discovery Park hosting annual Military Expo

UNION CITY, Tenn. — Discovery Park of America is hosting its annual Military Expo.

The event started Friday and goes through Saturday, March 15.

The expo features a variety of programs and interactive activities that explore the past, present and future of the American military.

All active-duty military personnel, veterans and their guests with them at the time of ticket purchase will receive free admission to Discovery Park.

“Discovery Park has so many pieces of military history here on a permanent basis, but we bring in so many different partners and vendors here, all with the mission in mind to teach our children about military history,” said Clare Saum, Discovery Park’s Director of Marketing.

For those nervous about the weather Saturday, the expo is going to be moved indoors so you can still come to the park, spend time inside, and learn.
