Chester County students explore opportunities during career fair
HENDERSON, Tenn. — Chester County High School held their college and career fair Tuesday.
The event was catered towards juniors and seniors, and over 400 students were able to attend. There were around 60 vendors representing a wide range of opportunities from colleges and the military to law enforcement.
Students were able to learn about new careers, make connections and network.
“They had an opportunity to go through and to ask them questions, they had QR codes that they needed to scan and ask questions so that they could engage with the vendors and just get more information about what they may want to do with their futures,” said Darlene Goff, career counselor for Chester County High School.
Goff thanks all the vendors who gave of their time to share with students. She also shares that planning has already begun for the next fair.
