11th annual Phenomenal Women Speak takes place in Brownsville
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn.—One event recognizes notable women in the Haywood County area.
The annual Phenomenal Women Speak event took place Saturday in Brownsville. The event was presented by Haywood Co. native and author, Dr. Cynthia Bond Hopson.
The seminar is presented as part of the celebration of Women’s History Month.
The event began at 2 in the afternoon at the Ann Marks Performing Arts Center located at 127 North Grand Street in Brownsville.
Phenomenal Women Speak also features messages from six prominent women throughout the local community. Those women are trailblazers in their field, each offering unique stories to share.
“Their stories are always so powerful, they inspire me. I like to say phenomenal women know other phenomenal women, so the women that have been selected before, select the ones that we honor every year,” said Dr. Cynthia Bond Hopson, Facilitator of Phenomenal Women.
The free event is open to the public and this is the 11th year for it to take place in Brownsville.
