Save a Sister organization presents a community event

HUMBOLDT, Tenn.—One organization welcomes the community for a day of worship, and spiritual healing.

The Save a Sister organization presented a special event Saturday morning in Humboldt. The event, hosted by Mary Sample, took place at Famous Soul Food located at 1412 Main Street.

Save a Sister invites the community to come join them in a day of worship and fellowship.

There was a delicious breakfast, uplifting music and a message from special guest Elder Stephanie Lynn Robinson.

“We come together and we do praise and worship and we allow people to tell their testimony and they tell what God has done and they also let them know that they once was homeless but now they have a home,” said Mary Sample, owner Famous Soul Food, Certified First Responder for Mental Health.

Save a Sister is a non-denominational Christian ministry organization.

Their mission is to assist the homeless in finding forever homes and helping to reintroduce them back into the community.

The group meets every second and fourth Saturday of the month offering the community a place to worship together and find hope.

The organization says all are welcome to attend these special events.
