TVA offering home energy rebates, ways to maximize energy efficiency
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Valley Authority is working to help people and businesses save money and energy by offering rebates on eligible upgrades that can add up to over $5,000 in savings.
If your home’s important systems — like heating, air conditioning and water heating — are over 10 years old, or you live in an older home, energy efficiency upgrades can help you lower your monthly energy bill, increase indoor comfort and use less electricity.
Through their EnergyRight program, TVA is working to help customers pay for work to upgrade their homes. The TVA offers several rebate programs when homeowners connect with contractors through the TVA’s network and use those contractors to upgrade HVAC systems or improve home insulation.
