Elks Lodge #192 honors its ‘Citizen of the Year’

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Elks Lodge #192 is thrilled to announce that Cathy Jarvis has been recognized as the 2024-2025 Citizen of the Year.. Cathy has been an active member of the Elks for six remarkable years and has taken on leadership roles for the past three years.
Her commitment to the community is truly inspiring. Cathy dedicates her time volunteering at Room in the Inn, where she serves meals to those experiencing homelessness. She also provides vital support by delivering meals twice a month and helps individuals with transportation through the My Ride program, ensuring they can reach appointments and essential errands without worry.
In addition to her work with the Elks, she dedicates time to St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Cathy has co-chaired the Elks Breast Cancer Bunco Tournament for many years, while also actively participating in numerous fundraisers at the Lodge.
