UPDATE: Still Missing: What Happened to Johnny Kent Travis?
UPDATE (04/15/25): The Camden Police Department has increased the reward for information leading to an arrest, conviction or location of remains regarding Travis’ case to $11,000.

A Camden man disappears just days after Christmas, and more then four years later, he is still missing.

Johnny Kent Travis was 59-years-old when he disappeared from Camden, Tennessee in December 2020.
According to Tennessee Missing and Unsolved, he was last seen by family members on December 29, 2020, at Timbercreek Apartments on North Forest Avenue. Family later reported him missing.
The Camden Police Department says that they, along with Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, have taken multiple statements and conducted numerous interviews throughout Benton County and surrounding areas since he vanished.
Tennessee Missing and Unsolved also reports that in April 2021, Camden Police and TBI searched the wooded area around Timbercreek Apartments.
On March 4, 2025, police announced that a reward for information leading to an arrest, conviction or location of remains regarding Travis’ case has been increased to $10,000.
Despite the efforts, Camden Police confirm that Travis has not been located.
Johnny is described as a Black male, 6’1″ tall, weighing around 189 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
