Nominations open for 2025 Mayor’s Civic Pride Awards
JACKSON, Tenn. — Nominations for the 2025 City of Jackson Mayor’s Civic Pride Awards are now open to the public.
The annual Mayor’s Civic Pride Awards recognize individuals that take exceptional care in their properties, which includes keeping yards well kept, beautiful landscaping and or hardscape, and overall curb appeal.
A group of Master Gardeners will judge this year’s civic pride nomination entries in which five individual awards will be given from five areas within the city as well as five honorable mentions.
“What will happen is, since we have nine districts, we will have winners from each district and then we will have a honorary mention. And that individual is someone that really shows civic pride within their community,” said Derek Marshall, Jr., Keep Jackson Beautiful coordinator.
Nomination dates started Tuesday and will run until April 30. Nominations forms and other information can be found by clicking here.
