Portion of West Tennessee highway washed out in Crockett County

CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn.–In Crockett County, flooding caused a washout to a portion of Highway 221 between Gadsden and Alamo.

The road is blocked by a large industrial backhoe and signs have been posted warning drivers that the road is closed until repairs can be made.
There’s no immediate word when the road will reopen in Crockett County.
