Joe was later reported as missing to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
Family says that law enforcement searched the property where he was last seen, along with surrounding areas, utilizing both dogs and drones. However, the search did not lead to any further discoveries.
Jones says that Joe is a diabetic, and that he did not have any medication or insulin with him when he disappeared. She also shared that he previously suffered a stroke, which resulted in slurred speech.
Jones also tells us that he did not take any money or a phone with him.
“He needs to be brought home, you know, I hate to say it, but one way or another. We need him to be found. I feel like if he was able to get to a phone, he would contact me, and he hasn’t.”
