Flooding conditions along Hwy 412

DYERSBURG, Tenn. — A local resident spends his birthday affected by flooding.

Dyersburg resident, John Moise, spoke to us Tuesday morning about the flooding along Highway 412.

Moise originally came down route 412 but saw that the highway on the other side was flooded.

When we spoke, he was trying to make his way to Alamo, Trenton, and then roundabout through Dyersburg.

He hoped to take 210 but that was flooded as well. He shares that he saw around 30 other vehicles, most of them trucks, also having to turn around due to flooding.

“They were estimating, over a three day time period, there was gonna be 12 inches and it didn’t hit where I live. I live in the north side of Dyersburg. This is the south side and it looks pretty flooded to me,” said Moise.
