U.S. Army introduces new program promoting health, fitness

JACKSON, Tenn. — The U.S. Army is launching a new program to promote health and fitness. It’s called the ‘All You’ program and it delivers actionable health and wellness tips.

These tips come from soldiers and they are based on the army’s holistic health and fitness system.

This is a video series that delivers techniques for anyone who wants to improve physical or mental health. Current stats show that only 23% of the eligible population meet the minimum requirements to become a soldier.

Major Allison Brager tells us more about the program.

“So, it’s meant to provide soldiers, but also just society, with current tips and techniques to manage stress, to properly fuel, and to have sound nutrition throughout the day, and then a series of techniques for getting a good night of sleep,” said Major Brager.
