House fire cause believed to be weather-related
FROM MADISON COUNTY FIRE RESCUE:
At approximately 5:00 PM [Thursday, April 10], Madison County Fire crews responded to a residential structure fire in eastern Madison County.
Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a two-story vacant home with heavy fire involvement.
Crews worked to bring the fire under control, and after several hours, the fire was fully extinguished.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is believed to be weather-related.
