Local Easter egg hunts, events happening this weekend
JACKSON, Tenn. — With the Easter holiday quickly approaching, we have some weekend events that are taking place this Saturday and Sunday.
West Tennessee has events for children to enjoy from all ages and they may even run into someone special. Here’s a list of Easter egg hunt events happening this Saturday in West Tennessee.
Saturday Events
In Madison County, the Donnell Century Farm will host their “Bunny Palooza” beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. Tickets can be bought online or at their gate.

Also in Madison County, the “Easter Eggstravaganza” is free for those that attend. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and the amazing egg hunt with begin at 11 a.m. This event will be hosted at 560 Leeper Lane in Jackson.

In Decatur County the Sheriffs Office will have their Easter egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. This is free to the public and is located at 190 civic lane in Parsons.

Weakley County will have their free egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday. This will be located at highway 45 east south in Martin.

In Crockett County at the Christian Church, their egg hunt will start at 10 a.m. with lunch provided. That address is 1550 highway 88 south in Alamo.

Also at 10:30 a.m., Gadsden Community Church’s egg hunt will begin at 10:30 located at 20048 us-79 in Gadsden.

The Easter bunny is planning on making it’s stop to the Elk Lodge in Carroll County located at 150 Elks Lodge Lane in Huntingdon prizes will be available and the Easter egg hunt begins at 1 p.m.
Sunday Events
On Sunday, Hardeman County has their free Easter egg hunt.
The Porter Creek Baptist Church’s community egg hunt will begin their registration at 2 p.m. and the hunt will begin at 2:30 p.m. This event is also free to the public. This will be hosted on 4120 South Main Street in Middleton.
