Easter Eggstravaganza returns to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—The hunt is on for those EGG-tra special eggs at one local Easter event.

The Jackson and Madison County Parks & Recreation Department hosts its Easter Eggstravaganza this morning.

The event took place beginning at 10 this morning and continued until noon at Madison County Leeper Lane Park.

The event drew lots of excited kids hoping to find the most colorful eggs and maybe even get a photo with the Easter Bunny.

There was also a bounce house available to enjoy, games and delicious snacks.

“We’re having a good turn out today with the weather being as beautiful as it is. It shows that the families in Jackson-Madison county want to get out and do family events,” said Bridgett Parham, Manager for City of Jackson Recreation and Parks.

The Easter Eggstravagaza is a family fun event that takes place every year in Jackson.
