Jackson Choral Society unites with Lane Choir for its Spring concert
JACKSON, Tenn.—Music fills the air at First Baptist Church as Jackson Choral Society presents a concert.
JCS unites with Lane College choir in presenting its Spring concert entitled “Hope and Deliverance.”
The performance began at 4 Saturday evening at the church located at 1627 North Highland Avenue in Jackson.
Tickets for the event were $20 and just $15 for students.
This musical event was directed by Zach Young and Alexis Rainbow.
“Anybody in Jackson who can sing or even outside of Jackson. Several people come in from out of town. Rehearsals are going to kick off again in August under the new director,” said Zach Young, Director, Jackson Chorale Society.
Saturday night’s concert included John Rutter’s “Requiem” and Mark Hayes’ “Spring Suite.”
