First Presbyterian hosts Holy Week service, luncheon

JACKSON, Tenn. — A community worship service and luncheon was held Tuesday for Holy Week.

First Presbyterian Church in Jackson hosted the event. A 30 minute service was followed by lunch in the fellowship hall, provided by the women of First Presbyterian Church and Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

The service included prayer, hymns, confessions and scripture readings. It ended with a charge and benediction.

The offering gathered Tuesday will go to benefit the nonprofits: Regional Interfaith Association and Area Relief Ministries.
